MEDIA APPLICATION GUIDELINES

All media are required to provide valid credentials to obtain tickets to our runway shows. Please note that we will only be able to consider accreditation requests from:

  • A media (broadcast, print, online, audio/visual, press agency).

  • A freelance journalist or stylist who can justify publications during the year & accredited via a media (professional e-mail address).

  • A television or radio producer or executive.

MARKETPLACE VENDOR GUIDELINES

  1. Material Selection:

    • Prioritize the use of sustainable, eco-friendly, and biodegradable materials in your products, such as organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, Tencel, and recycled polyester.

    • Avoid materials that contribute to environmental degradation, such as conventional polyester, nylon, and other synthetic fabrics.

    • Opt for deadstock or surplus fabrics to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency.

  2. Design for Minimal Waste:

    • Design products with minimal waste in mind, aiming to optimize material usage during production.

    • Explore zero waste pattern-making techniques, modular designs, and efficient cutting methods to reduce fabric wastage.

    • Consider offering customizable or made-to-order options to minimize excess inventory and waste.

  3. Packaging Practices:

    • Adopt sustainable packaging practices by using recyclable, compostable, or biodegradable materials.

    • Minimize packaging waste by opting for minimalist designs and avoiding unnecessary packaging materials.

    • Encourage customers to reuse or recycle packaging materials whenever possible.

  4. Durability and Longevity:

    • Design products with durability and longevity in mind, prioritizing quality construction and timeless styles that withstand trends.

    • Provide care instructions to customers to prolong the lifespan of products and reduce the need for replacements.

  5. Transparency and Ethics:

    • Maintain transparency in your supply chain, ensuring fair labor practices and ethical treatment of workers throughout the production process.

    • Source materials from suppliers with sustainable certifications or ethical sourcing practices.

    • Communicate transparently with customers about the environmental and social impact of your products.

  6. Repair and Recycling Programs:

    • Offer repair services for your products to extend their lifespan and reduce the need for replacements.

    • Establish a take-back or recycling program to collect and recycle old products at the end of their life cycle.

    • Provide information to customers about how to properly recycle or dispose of products.

  7. Educational Initiatives:

    • Educate customers about the importance of zero waste practices and sustainability in the fashion industry.

    • Share information about the environmental benefits of choosing sustainable materials and supporting zero waste vendors.

    • Offer workshops or demonstrations at Sustainable Fashion Week to showcase sustainable practices and engage with the community.

  8. Community Engagement:

    • Engage with the local community by participating in events such as Sustainable Fashion Week and other sustainability-focused initiatives.

    • Encourage customers to be active participants in your zero waste initiatives and sustainability efforts.

    • Collaborate with other vendors, designers, and organizations to promote sustainability and drive positive change within the fashion industry.
